Providing residential and non-acute services, this residential facility provides respite care to elderly users.
Project involved the construction of a 3,500 m2 residential complex comprising of 37 No. self contained living units and shared common areas such as dining areas, recreational common rooms and a Chapel.
The building comprises of a 3 storey reinforced concrete frame with load bearing masonry elements. All of the external facades are constructed in decorative red brick. The floors of the building are pre-stressed concrete hollow core floors which were selected for their fire and sound proofing properties.
All of the apartments have their own bedroom, bathroom, kitchen/dining and living areas together with their own balconies.
CSEA provided all of the civil and structural engineering services associated with the project including the installation of a storm water attenuation tank, all drainage and civil/utility infrastructure in accordance with the planning granted by Dublin City Council.
