Located in the Airport Business Park in Cork, 7km from Cork City Centre, this 2,500m2 office fit-out was required by online retail Giant Amazon to accommodate 450 staff in a new European Customer Service Centre.
The project, completed within 3 months, entailed a complete fit-out of the existing level 1 and level 2 offices to provide call centre office accommodation for in a mix of open plan and cellular offices.
The accommodation incorporated the fit-out of a new reception and entrance area, complete with security desk and turnstile entrance. The new canteen facilities comprised high specification kitchen units with Miele appliances. Coffee docks and water cooler facilities were provided throughout the office areas and new rest areas were provided for staff. Raised access flooring, new partitions and wall floor and ceiling finishes were installed throughout, with extensive services provided including AV and telecommunications equipment. Bespoke furniture including lecturns was provided in addition to high specification office furniture and fittings including desks, sofas, lockers, signage, fire extinguishers, blinds etc.
