Clifton Scannell Emerson Associates are appointed as Lead Consultant for the development of the proposed Tallaght to Ballyboden cycle route for South Dublin County Council.
Phase 1 of the route passes through Dodder Valley Park, crossing the river Dodder and the Ballycullen Stream at 2 discrete locations, requiring the construction of new pedestrian and cycle bridges.
The structures include a single-span girder bridge crossing the Ballycullen Stream and a signature cable-stayed bridge spanning the river Dodder.
The contract includes the statutory approval process, contract documentation and construction supervision.
UPDATE: The larger 52m spanning bridge was lifted into position on the 16th October 2014. (Refer to gallery above for pictures).
