BELFIELD HOUSE UCD, CLINTON INSTITUTE FOR AMERICAN STUDIES
Belfield House now accommodates the William Jefferson Clinton Institute for American Studies.
- It is a Protected structure dating from the 18th Century
- Detailed Condition Survey of the building
- Major Structural Intervention to preserve walls, floors and roof
- Restoration of the façade to its original condition using coloured lime render
- The adjacent stables and coach house were renovated and extended while retaining their outer walls
- A feature of the project was the extensive landscaping of the coach house court yard and the environs of Belfield House itself
