BELFIELD HOUSE UCD, CLINTON INSTITUTE FOR AMERICAN STUDIES

Belfield House now accommodates the William Jefferson Clinton Institute for American Studies.

  • It is a Protected structure dating from the 18th Century
  • Detailed Condition Survey of the building
  • Major Structural Intervention to preserve walls, floors and roof
  • Restoration of the façade to its original condition using coloured lime render
  • The adjacent stables and coach house were renovated and extended while retaining their outer walls
  • A feature of the project was the extensive landscaping of the coach house court yard and the environs of Belfield House itself
