Structural Engineer - 5+ Years exp

Location:                 The Highline, Pottery Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin

Salary:                     Negotiable 

Education:              Third Level Engineering Qualification 
                                 (Level 8 or higher)

Type of Position:    Permanent full-time position

Experience:             Minimum 5 years 

Role: Structural Engineer - 5+ Years exp

This position is responsible for development of the structural design, and construction management of the project. The candidate should have the ability to develop the structural analytical models and communicate the outputs of these models to the BIM modelers in a proficient manner.

Duties will include:

• Acting as a Structural Engineer as part of design Teams
• Design input and outputs to the wider team
• Preparation of project reports (Planning, Tender, Construction Stage)
• Communication with internal and external parties
• Involved in the preparation of design drawings
• Involved in site inspections, review of Tech Subs and responding to RFIs

Desirable skills/attributes:

• Good communication skills and can prioritise and manage workload effectively
• Experience in delivery of Structural Engineering Design
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Proficient in use of structural design software
• Proficient in use of structural design software
• Proficient in the development of construction drawings and associated engineering reports
• Fluency in German or Norwegian would be an added benefit
